At The Village Family Medicine, we provide compassionate mental health support for individuals and families facing common emotional and behavioral health challenges. Our primary care–based mental health services are best suited for mild to moderate conditions. For more complex cases—including  bipolar disorder, treatment resistant depression/anxiety, psychosis, active suicidal thoughts, or conditions requiring intensive therapy—we may recommend referral to psychiatry, specialized therapy, or hospital-based services. We will work with you to ensure you are connected to the appropriate level of care.

Absolutely! In an effort to make mental health care more accessible, our mental health services are available to non-members. You can book an initial consult and follow-ups at our transparent cash-pay rates.

Mental health services are included at no additional cost to members!

Dr. Berry is not a licensed therapist. Many patients have found therapeutic value in supportive listening visits, where they are a offered a judgement-free space to discuss the challenges they may be facing. If additional therapy is needed, we’ll connect you with trusted local counselors and coordinate care. 

Yes. As a board-certified Family Medicine physician, Dr. Berry can prescribe and manage medications for management of mental health concerns when clinically appropriate.

Per clinic policy, we do not prescribe long-term controlled substances (i.e. benzodiazepines) for the management of anxiety. Any patient previously prescribed these medications will be weaned and/or recommended to seek a higher level of care. 

Yes! Patients can choose to be seen virtually for their initial and/or follow-up visits.
